Practice Learning Experiences
The programme consists of six practise learning experiences to make sure that you get the most out of your learning chances. Practise learning will help you learn the skills you need to be competent in the field of nursing for adults.
According to NMC standards, we also make sure that both learning in practise and learning in the classroom are given the same amount of weight. There are six mandatory practise learning modules: two small ones in year one, two medium ones in year two, and two big ones in year three. Together, they are worth 50% of the credit each year.
As required by the Equality Act 2010, BPP University will think about what fair adjustments can be made for disabled students’ placements. If a student has a physical or mental disability that has a “substantial and long-term” negative effect on their ability to do normal daily tasks, reasonable adjustments will be considered.
Assessments
There are many types of tests in the course, such as exams, assignments, and skills in practise.
Exams will be both written and online, with assessment methods that may include parts or multiple-choice questions and may be unseen or partly unseen if assessment material is given out in advance.
BPP University gives students a choice in how these assessments are done, and when online tools are available, the programmes will use them to give evaluations. Some tests may require you to be at a physical place.
The Manual of Policies and Procedures tells you everything you need to know about BPP University’s feedback strategy on exams and assessments.
Learning Materials
All of the needed learning materials are provided online as part of the course fee. This is in line with modern ways of working and lessens our effect on the environment. Print-on-demand versions are provided for students who need them.
