Anglia Ruskin is consistently ranked in the top three universities in the country with just under 2,000 international students enrolled. It is well known for its Welcome, Arrival and Orientation Programme for international students by the International Student Barometer. Student satisfaction was rated at over 90 per cent, according to the latest survey in 2013.
Specialist International Student Support advisers of the Anglia Ruskin’s student services team are on-site to help international students with banking, language support and visas, as well as holding social events and orientations. Accommodation
Awide variety of different accommodation can be opted in Anglia Ruskin University with availability in each of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough. Brand new en-suite rooms, traditional halls of residence, as well as shared houses and flats are available for accommodations which are located in the campus or close to the campus or in walkable distance of the city centres.
Location
Anglia Ruskin University – ARU is based in the east of England with three modern main campuses in Chelmsford, Cambridge and Peterborough, within one hour away from London. The heart of a famous university city harbors the Cambridge campus and in its history recently has reached a milestone with the opening of a new £35 million redevelopment. The Rivermead campus, in the Chelmsford site is a 10-minute walk from the town centre located on the banks of the river Chelmer. Most of the buildings being under 10 years old, Rivermead campus is modern. Recently both Cambridge and Chelmsford were rated in the top ten best places to live in the UK. The smallest among the three is Peterborough, specializing in health and social care courses. The closest airports to all three of the main sites at Anglia Ruskin are Cambridge and London Stansted alongside regular train services connecting the university with the rest of the UK.
