Services for International Students
Free English language support including academic writing and critical reading skills is offered by Oxford Brookes. There is an arrival weekend for international students, featuring campus and city tours, at the beginning of term. Assistance to students with specific issues such as visas or employment laws alongside the standard personal support service is provided during the term by the International Student Advisory Team.

In The Sunday Times University Guide, for 11 of the past 12 years it has topped the rankings for modern universities. Oxford Brookes was also honored by two Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for outstanding achievement and excellence. In the People and Planet Green league of greenest universities also the University regularly performs well.
94% of research was ‘internationally recognized’, while 59% was judged to be of ‘world leading’ quality by following the 2014 Research Excellence Framework. Top performers were Architecture, Business and Management, English Language, History, Engineering and Music.
Accommodation
Accommodation is guaranteed to all international students.
After completing their first year, students can continue to use university accommodation.
Fee ranges from £111.02 – £203.70 per week on an average for accommodation.
There are university-managed accommodations as well as numerous private landlords out of campus.
Location
Three campuses in and around Oxford are the basis of Oxford Brookes University which can all be reached by public transport. All year round, a direct inter-site bus service operates.
In the south of England, Oxford is situated with excellent transport links to other regional centres. Every fifteen minutes, trains run from London to Oxford and the journey time is around one hour. The beauty of the university architecture is the attraction of the compact city, Oxford. Oxford has a large student population and a wide range of shops, cafes, bars and other facilities along with the University of Oxford in the city, that cater to students’ needs.
